Work as great as they did from day 1! I have used the lightest and heaviest weight. I’m very happy with the purchase and highly recommend!

I absolutely love them! I use them 4 to 5 times per week since I got them without issue! I do treat them gently though.

I previously owned a set of Bowflex 552s that I got on sale. Those were decent enough, but these dumbbells are far and away better in so many ways. I did a ton of research before I settled on this pair and they're very clearly the best ones you can get. The ease in which you can select the weight you want is great and seamless. The set just exudes high quality. I've slammed these more than a few times too without issue. These are one of the best purchases I've ever made.

They've been great for me! very well built and love the adjustment range (both being able to go heavy and the level of fine-grained adjustments). the only thing of note is that the size of the circular part is quite large. for exercises like curls and overhead triceps movements, they do get in the way. but other than that, they've been great

I think they're the best adjustable dumbbell design available. Just don't drop them.

Common Negative User Comments

When putting the weight into the cradle again, its very difficult to make it lock in correct.

Price will go over budget after taxes and shipping, you can NOT drop these, they are round not hex, and the weight increments are weird asf at 3.3lbs.

They been perfect other than when I switch to 92lbs and 88lbs lbs it lifts up the cradle with it. Not sure how to fix that.

When a weight is selected, sometimes additional weights stick to the end so the DB is unbalanced and then the plate will slide off.

I think they're the best adjustable dumbbell design available. Just don't drop them.

Pros & Cons

Pros

Cons

Very stylish chrome look and narrow head like regular dumbbells

Not drop proof and will easily damage

Twist handle makes it easy to change weights

Flimsy weight cradle, weights are hard to put back in the tray due to remaining weights leaning.

Adjusts in 3.5 lb increments

Weight increments are in unusual weights and very thick grip.

Fantastic weight range from very light to very heavy.

Some report weights are loose, rattle during use and chrome chips off.

Good price for heavy weight range.

Customer service communication is not the best, possible additional tax or duty fees outside of Canada, and many report shipping damage and delays.

The World's Most Compact Adjustable Dumbbell Sets - One Set Equals 52 Dumbbells. Twist-to-adjust from 8.5 lb to 92 lb.

Bottom Line Summary

Trulap's are great in almost every way except their biggest drawback. They are not drop proof in anyway. With an investment price tag they should be less fragile.
